Orneillaia

Behind the proud name of Orneillaia stands a special winery. Now in the masterful hands of Frescobaldi, this sublime wine is grown in a terroir that is, in every way, as unique as those of its cousins in Bolgheri. Baked by a hot sun during the day and surrounded by cool air at night, the vineyard's Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (30%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) vines enjoy the perfect conditions to thrive. Orneillaia has been compared favourably to the great Médoc wines of Bordeaux.
