Château Latour – Pauillac

Rich in history, Château Latour was purchased by François Pinault in 1993. The estate currently cultivates nearly 63 hectares of vineyards, 47 of which are planted with old vines dedicated to the production of the premium Château Latour wine. Grape varieties grown here include Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Merlot (20%), and a mix of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (5%). The estate's ideal location and the concentration of old gravelly soil in its vineyards partly explain the Latour reputation for producing wines of consistently high quality, even in the worst years.
