Burgundy's exceptional 1990 vintage resulted from ideal climatic conditions. Precipitation was below normal but not enough to cause the vines to suffer from dryness. Harvesting conditions were absolutely remarkable. The 1990 Burgundian reds have an intense robe with glints of purple. They are pure and fresh with concentrated fruitiness, round tannins that remain closed, and robust personality. The whites of this vintage are fruity, fine, elegant, extremely fresh, powerful and well balanced.
